“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord,

And He delights in his way.

Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down;

For the Lord upholds him with His hand.”

In the cause of all who are appointed to die.

Open your mouth, judge righteously,

And plead the cause of the poor and needy.”

Survivors often feel unheard.

That is stroke recovery.

“But those who wait on the Lord

Shall renew their strength;

They shall mount up with wings like eagles,

They shall run and not be weary,

They shall walk and not faint.”

— Isaiah 40:31

Recovery is renewal. Sometimes walking comes before running. And both are victories.
